Casa Mistral is within easy driving distance of many great courses.

Nearest to the villa currently are the Pinta and Grimacho courses on the other side of Carvoeiro (approx 10 minute drive). Also the new courses of Silves and the fabulous new Nick Faldo Amendoeira course (all just 10 minutes drive away).

A 15 minutes drive will take you to the famous Penina Championship course, similarly from the newer Solgados, which has 15 water hazards and was constructed from an old marshland.

Well worth a try are the relatively new courses at Morgardo, again only about 15 - 20 minutes from Mistral.

Going further west is the beautiful course of Palmares, which has some of the most scenic holes in the Algarve.

As for club hire, you will find an excellent little shop in Carvoeiro. It is situated literally at the start of the one-way system as you enter the village on the right hand side.
